Renewal North West renews its membership with Reuse Network
Reuse Network is the UK’s only membership body dedicated to charitable and voluntary reuse organisations. Together members are reducing poverty, tackling waste, and offering a brighter and better future for the most isolated individuals in our society.
We are so pleased to partner with a network of organisations all passionate about turning the tide on poverty and inequality, and actively working to reduce waste in a way that benefits communities.
Last year, network members helped support 1.5 million households gain access to affordable household items, saving them £321.2 million compared to buying these items new. In addition to this, 92,566 tonnes of CO2 emissions were saved between April 2023 and March 2024.
Craig Anderson, CEO of Reuse Network said: “We’re delighted that Renewal North West have joined us for another year of connection and collaboration. Our vibrant community of over 110 reuse charities from across the UK are part of a growing movement for socially driven reuse. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive network, giving our members the opportunity to forge partnerships, access resources, and amplify their impact in the circular economy. Together, we are building a society where everyone can create a sustainable home”.
In the Autumn of 2025, Community Appliances welcomed a special guest: Kieran, a 19-year-old student completing a 3-month placement. He describes finishing his placement as a victory that has opened the door to employment.
Refresh Coffee House (our cafe project that adjoins the showroom) was managed by Ellen from 2023 until her departure at the end of 2025. She has kindly shared with us her lasting thoughts on Renewal North West, and how God’s faithfulness has shown itself throughout her life.
