Community Computers is a Digital Alliance Partner, working in partnership with Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and Stockport’s Digital Device Lending Library with Starting Point Community Learning Partnership to tackle digital exclusion in Stockport.

Our aim is to help break down the barriers that people and families on a low-income face when needing to access technology. As a Microsoft registered refurbisher, we are committed to providing fully licensed technology at an affordable cost to those on a low income.

What we do

Since2004, we have been recycling not only computers I.T. equipment, but a whole multitude of unwanted goods. We are quite literally, recycling specialists.

Our service is usually free and we specialise in processing various different types of I.T. equipment

Putting computers into the community, tackling digital inclusion

When we refurbish IT equipment, we place it back into the community fully refurbished and licensed. We sell IT equipment at a competitive rate to the general public and at a reduced rate for those financially disadvantaged to tackle digital exclusion as a Digital Alliance Partner.

Free Anti Virus Software
Email and Browser Software
