Renewal Living is a 24/7, 2-year programme providing housing, support, and new skills to those with experience of offending, homelessness, addiction or long-term unemployment.
The charity has bought a new property to meet the growing need for immersive, long-term support, however, before we can welcome new clients, it needs an extensive renovation. This began in the autumn of 2025 and we wanted to share an update for those of you who have financially supported the building works.
Significant progress has been made, as all the first fix electrics, plumbing and heating have been completed, as well as a new roof, windows, and doors. We have also installed lots of insulation to meet with future HMO housing requirements that will soon be brought in.
All the plastering work has been completed and we are now planning for the installation of the 2 kitchens and 4 bathrooms, as each room is en-suite.
We thank God for a very good builder who has been so supportive and efficient in the work he has done. Praise the Lord!
We are hoping that all the building work will be completed by November this year and are beginning to make plans around next steps on using this extra capacity.
Please pray that the Lord sends along those who He wants us to help in coming days. Pray that our heart for the broken, needy and lost will grow stronger and that compassion will be seen in action just as Jesus would!
