Why do we exist?
Renewal North West is a registered charity located in Stockport and formed in 2005, operating to transform and rebuild the lives of those at risk within Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. Empowered by our faith in Jesus Christ, our vision is to break down complex barriers by bringing hope to the community that we serve.
Transforming Lives and Restoring Hope
We support those long-term unemployed with multiple barriers to employment, including ex-offenders, the homeless and those battling addiction. We break these barriers down with the provision of skills development, work experience, accommodation and employment and to those that welcome it, we share the good news of Jesus. Our range of services supports individuals to independently flourish, to break links with their old life and prevent re-offending.
Provision of essentials back into the community
Renewal’s work allows the day to day operations of our re-use warehouse in Shaw Heath that provides essential, low-cost household furniture, electrical items and clothing back into the community, including to those facing financial hardship so that they are able to secure the necessities to establish and maintain a home.
The furtherance of Christian Faith
Renewal North West keeps Jesus Christ at the centre in all that we do and declares the news he brings to those that welcome it.
