Nicola has been shopping, and making donations, to Renewal for the last six months. She found the store one day when she was early for a GP appointment, so went for a walk and stumbled upon the shop on Shaw Heath. She has this to say about Renewal North West:
“Renewal is run as a charity should be: great turnover of stock, fair prices, friendly staff and customers, and I can even have a brew in the coffee shop!
I don’t particularly like Internet shopping as I (and many others) enjoy the social interaction. Since becoming quite a ‘regular’ I have got to know people enough to have a chat, which is great for mental health well-being, and grab a bargain or two.
No matter what religion, etc., you are Renewal has a warm welcome for everyone and most definitely represents ‘community’. I genuinely can’t praise the charity enough. Thank you!”
“It’s About Equipping Young People To Have The Future That They Want.”
Pursing Individual Excellence (also known as PIE) teamed up with Community Computers to provide Evie, a young person on their team, with a MacBook.
