Nathan had a difficult upbringing - in foster care for most of his childhood. He turned to drugs in his teens and by 18 he was both a user and dealer. After a few bad calls, he was eventually prosecuted at the age of 20 and served 2 years in prison for possession with intent to supply.
Renewal's care team visited Nathan in prison over several months and on his release he came to stay on the residential program. Renewal was able to provide a compassionate and understanding environment which helped to develop positive behaviors.
After 2 years of support, Nathan successfully enrolled onto a 3 year BA course at university. We wish him every success going forward.
